Stand offs are all about giving the sail its shape. They're sold in pairs so you'll always have a spare.
PLEASE NOTE, for this kite there are two different stand offs. An "inner" and an "outer." Be sure that you're getting the one that you need. Here's a hint... the Outer Stand Off is the one closest to the leading edge and will be the shorter of the two.
